Choose your Challenge
Taking part in a challenge for charity is not just an exciting adventure, but an opportunity to make a lasting difference to the lives of physically disabled adults. By participating, you’ll raise vital funds that support our service through daily activities, therapies, and resources that empower disabled individuals to live their lives to the fullest.
Whether you’re hiking through breath-taking landscapes, cycling across stunning regions, or tackling any other thrilling challenge, your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing independence, and confidence for our members at Paul’s Place.
Every step you take or mile you cover brings us closer to building a world where everyone, regardless of physical ability, can lead a fulfilling life.
We’ve signed up to Charity Challenge to bring you the most epic challenges available. Charity Challenge is the World’s leading fundraising challenge operator. Best known for organising the Comic Relief celebrity Kilimanjaro Climb. They organise over 100 expeditions each year and have run more international challenges, and have raised funds for more charities than any other company worldwide! So you are in safe hands.
How does it work?
There are hundreds of challenges to take part in, all you need to do is pick which one, decide on a date and sign up!
There are two options when signing up:
Self-funder: With this option, you personally cover the full cost of the challenge and Paul’s Place benefits from every pound that you raise. The full cost is made up of the registration fee due at the time of booking, and the balance due eight weeks before departure. There is no minimum fundraising target for this option.
Minimum sponsorship: With this option, you pay the registration fee when booking the challenge and pledge to raise a minimum amount of sponsorship (minimum amount depends on challenge but for example trekking Machu Picchu is around £4,570 and the National Three Peaks is £935). When booking, you can see the minimum amount required before confirming.
At least 80% of the minimum sponsorship required must be sent to us 11 weeks before departure, Paul’s Place will then pay the balance of the challenge costs. The remaining 20% of your sponsorship must be received within 4 weeks of completing the challenge.
